Resource Centre

The Resource Centre at Gelli Aur was built in 1997 with European Funding under the EAGGF programme, with additional support from the Welsh Office, West Wales TEC and match funding from the college.

Located in the beautiful and tranquil Towy Valley, within easy reach of the M4, Gelli Aur can provide the ideal location for:

• Farm Walks
• Conferences

The Dairy Development Programme, MilkBench, Managing Farms with IT, Agricultural short courses and the Farm Manager’s office are all based at the centre, more information on all of these projects can be found by clicking Here.

Farm Walks

With three dairy herds, Beef & Sheep enterprises as well as the various projects (e.g. DDC & MilkBench) based on the farm, Gelli Aur is the ideal location for:

• Farm Walks
• Field Trips
• Environment & geography studies

which is ideal for Farmer Groups, Agricultural Organisations, Schools & Colleges. You can combine your farm walk with a meeting, training session, details of the facilities available at Gelli Aur are below.

Conference Facilities

The Resource Centre at Gelli Aur can provide an ideal venue for meetings, training courses, conferences and social events. The facilities at Gelli Aur include:
